The Commercial Advisory team, part of the Media Partnerships department, possesses deep knowledge of UEFA Men’s Club Competitions commercial, brand and compliance topics. Through our practical and insightful advice, we strive to create opportunities for media partners to better re-finance their rights.
The role
As Commercial Media Executive, you will help media partners to better commercialise the rights they have acquired for the UEFA Men’s Club Competitions. You will provide a world-class level of customer service and consistently add value to media partners around the globe. You will manage the commercial advisory to several key media partners and report to the Senior Commercial Media Executive.

Your responsibilities will include the following:
 
Media Partner Account Management
  • Manage the day-to-day requests and relationships across a diverse set of media partners worldwide
  • Ensure the obligations for your assigned media partners are met and in line with their contractual commitments
  • Add value to your assigned media partners, understanding their commercial rights, and remain their source of knowledge for all commercial activities relating to UEFA Men’s Club Competitions
  • Continuously seek new ways to improve the collaboration and workflows with media partners by collaborating with internal colleagues and making use of internal resources

Commercialisation of Media Rights
  • Advise the global media partner network on how best they can commercialise and extract the maximum value from the rights, whilst ensuring compliance with the contractual rights and obligations
  • Develop and apply an understanding of UEFA’s commercial programme for each media partner, to ensure a tailored approach
  • Support media partners with the delivery of digital campaigns across different channels
  • Support the development and implementation of innovative activations and provide commercial guidance 
The candidate
Ideall​y, you have experience in media ownership, television, sports marketing, digital media and/or experience in partnerships management. You are familiar with a commercial-facing environment and are known for your commercially savvy perspective. An understanding of or a keen interest in the media rights landscape and media rights partners’ business models would be an advantage. Likewise, you understand the importance of putting clients first and delivering work to the highest standards. Finally, your ability to work independently allows you to take considered decisions in the best interest of the media partners with ease.

The position will be either based at TEAM’s Lucerne or London office and will involve some international travel.
