The Media Services team, part of the Media Partnerships department, offers industry-leading expertise to provide proactive and bespoke support to media partners and in managing the delivery of sponsors’ media assets.
The role
As a Media Services Executive, you will play an integral role in compliance monitoring, ensuring UEFA Men’s Club Competitions’ media partners adhere to their media rights agreements, and content protection to safeguard their exclusive media rights against piracy. Additionally, you will offer vital support as an account manager to designated global media partners, guiding them in the commercialisation of their media rights with a proactive and client-focused approach. You will report to the Senior Media Services Manager.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

Media Partner Compliance and Content Protection
  • Further develop compliance monitoring, by improving workflows with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance of media rights agreements
  • Collaborate closely with the dedicated monitoring supplier to enhance efficiency and improve the monitoring database, by continuously working on innovative features and dashboards
  • Extract and analyse global data sets to assist media partners in enhancing their media rights transmissions
  • Analyse social media data to identify best practices and share insights with internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop a deep knowledge of content protection by keeping updated with the latest trends and technologies, helping the team and media partners to protect their exclusive media rights.
  • Work closely with the Content Protection Lead to enhance internal workflows and support with media partner requests, customising solutions to combat the changing landscape of digital piracy

Media Partner Account Management
  • Manage the day-to-day requests and relationships across a diverse set of media partners worldwide
  • Ensure the obligations for your assigned media partners are met and in line with their contractual commitments
  • Add value to your assigned media partners, understanding their commercial rights, and remain their source of knowledge for all commercial activities relating to UEFA Men’s Club Competitions
  • Continuously seek new ways to improve the collaboration and workflows with media partners by collaborating with internal colleagues and making use of internal resources

As a Media Services Executive candidate, you have proficient communication and analytical skills. Your interest in the commercial concepts of the football industry is paramount. Additionally, your ability to think innovatively and stay updated on industry trends is crucial. You maintain a proactive mindset and foster collaboration within the organisation. The position will be based at TEAM’s Lucerne or London office and will involve some international travel.
